Time Management: Study Vs Organization

What comes into people mind when they hear about time? Does it like marathon? When we need to start everything in a rush to reach the finish punctually and nothing is left behind. It can be, right? Then, we oftenly see that time is being a ghost for people. This case might be seen from what’s going on within students. The most frightening problem they face is how to deal with time. Students are those who own the different trait. Some are so study-oriented, some are organizational oriented, while the rest can run both smoothly.
Which one portrays you? Studying is the main goal that people need to run perfectly, that’s the nature actually. They want to start the learning process and graduate punctually, then they go for the job, gain the success. While, organization is positioned as the soft-skill in which we can get and share many experiences, to be more socialized with others, that they are inevitably needed by us to be able to go down into society. Both studying and organization cannot be separated, they are interconnected instead. However, running these two activities is not as easy as we think, right? When we ask about the reason of that case, most of them will come up with the reason about time-management. Thus, we need to be able to maintain ourselves and our time.
What we should do is just go with to do list. We need to make a list of our schedule in a day and go first with the priority. For instance, when we have class, just go first then when we have a spare time, we can merge with our partner in organization. Thus, we have to be able to select the priority to keep both going on. We can also apply appreciation and punishment methods. For example, when in a day we can successfully run our schedule, we can appreciate ourselves such as by having dinner with a more delicious food, different as usual. However, when we fail to run our schedule completely, we can punish ourselves, such as by lessening our pocket money.
If one day, we are given 50,000 IDR for our daily needs, we can cut it 25,000 IDR to fulfil our daily needs in that day. These methods then run as this way for everyday’s life. By this, it is hoped that we can be motivated to have a good time-management since time is like our success determiner. This thought is portrayed by the proverb I quote from C.S. Lewis.
“The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.”
Thus, to gain what we are willing, we have to be more selective to manage the time. We are competing with the time and we are challenged to play with it. We are just given 24 hours to go around our schedule before the other day arrives. Shall we complete all to reach the success or postpone them because of less priority? The answer depends on the actor him/herself. Success is our right, it doesnot see what we are and who we are. As long as we can manage the time, go for the main and success is ready to hold. So, don’t ever think that we cannot go both studying and organization as the result of disorganized time-management.

Let’s try and be ready for gaining success J
